At 950 Hillside Ave in Plainfield, NJ, we purchased and renovated an 1800s classic Manor Home destroyed by Hurricane Sandy — rebuilding the home and all of its major systems from the ground up.
The finished home became a Designer Showcase Home for the benefit of the Valerie Fund, which helps kids with cancer through six treatment centers across New Jersey. We coordinated the work of 21 designers on the project, raising $360,000 for the fund as part of a personal payback — the fund helped our granddaughter recover from pediatric brain cancer.
The project received national network coverage on WCBS, Fox and Friends, and Fox News. Grace was a guest of President Donald J. Trump and featured at the State of the Union Address.
